We had an amazing time last night visiting the local medium security prison. God went before us and with us and after us. We were humbled to share with these men, some of whom have become faithful followers of Jesus while imprisoned. The prison chaplain introduced our team with his sincere, enduring heart. The youth music team led with energy and excitement for Jesus. One of the Irish guys and one of our guys shared their story of living for Jesus after a troubled past. One of the Irish girls sang for the inmates. And Steve McCready offered his friendship and the opportunity to know Jesus. We rejoice that one prisoner at least was soulfully freed when he committed his life to Jesus last night. Philippians 4:20 seems a fitting tribute: “Now glory be to God our Father forever and ever. Amen.”
