oh the weather outside was frightful…

Img_0546_1  I can’t help showing you these photos from my final week as interim pastor in Port Alberni.  This was my last drive home from the office, having had coffee lunch with Lee and starbucks with Harvey.  Almost didn’t make it over the Hump.  I spun the tires and fishtailed the back end all the way up the incline.  At one point I had to let myself coast backwards about 50 feet in order to find a new groove in the snow.  What normally is a ten minute climb took about 40… but thankfully our ole’ Metalic Plum made the trek.

  1. Merry Christmas to youm Tim. Thanks for the encouraging words. I enjoy looking in on yours too. There will be a few days in the next couple weeks where I won’t be posting… can’t get access easily while on holiday. I’ve enjoyed this blog-thing quite a bit this year. I’m looking forward to what the next year will bring… the improvements, the comments, the growing momentum.

  2. Hello Ken,
I wish you and your family merry christmas and a blessed, calm and harmonic time. Thanks for your thoughts on this blog, that impresses a lot.
    Jesus lives. Tim
