Lucky 13

Img_1140_1 Thirteen years ago TODAY, Kathy and I stood as two young pups holding hands, gazing deep in each other’s eyes, and stating vows of marraige.  Giving myself over to Kathy is the best thing I have done in my life- next to giving myself over to Jesus.  Thirteen is not a bad number for us at all.  We love it!  And we can’t wait to have 13 more… or even 6×13 more.  I’m not sure if we really want to do 7×13 more… I think there would be a bit too many wrinkles in our relationship by that anniversary.

Kathy, I love you more today than the day before.  Even as we face new challenges and transitions in life… I cherish every moment together with you as we give ourselves to parenting and practicing faith.  I am so thankful to God for you!

  1. Thanks James! Kathy had a great dinner out on Monday night… and we talked about how wonderful Christ’s body is. To think that we could so quickly be encouraged and welcomed by Brentview is an amazing testimony to the love of Jesus. Thanks for being a huge part of that.

  2. Thanks Anne! What an amazing person God has made in you, Anne. Kathy and I pray for you often in N.Ireland and we remember your family in our prayers back on V.I. too. Thanks for your updates… hopefully you’ll be able to stop through Calgary someday. We’re excited to see what God has in store for you!

  3. Ken & Kathy,
Happy belated anniversary! May the God who faithfully brought you together, and has faithfully provided your every need, and cared for you through every storm, and doubt, and rejoiced with you through every joy – Grant you joy inexpressible and love overflowing for each other, your children, your extended families, and all of us in Calgary who are blessed to have you here!

  4. Dear Ken and Kathy… Happy belated anniversary! It is so neat to see you two together…such an example to the young people of this generation. You aren’t afraid to show your love for one another around people and that is amazing. I know it’s been a while since i’ve talked to you both, but I continue to think and pray for you and your family, praising God for the work he is doing in you and through you. I pray God will richly bless both of you, your marriage, and your family.
    In him,
    Anne

  5. Thanks Char,
Your family is amazing… and such a steady net for us. I can’t believe you let Kathy marry that smiling, pimple popper 13 years ago! It’s an honor, truly, to be a part of your family!

  6. Happy Anniversary Our Friends!! Kathy and Ken, Your marriage is an inspriations to others.. Thank you for being a great example of a christian marriage to Glen and I.
    God Bless
