After praying again this morning about our circumstances and for my family and friends… I remembered a thought from Dallas Willard: “Prayer is, above all, a means of forming character… It is God’s intention that we should grow into the kind of person he could empower to do what we want to do.” This is an interesting comment. We usually start in prayer at the end of this comment… With what we want to do. But God in prayer starts with the formation of our character. That’s all I need to say about that.
