Dan Leffelaar is our worship leader for the hub. When I met Dan in January of 2006, I immediately gelled with this guy. He’s got a real heart… one that brings struggles and heartaches, joys and love to the Lord. And from his breathing with God through the good and the guts, Dan is shaped by the Spirit to inspire others. A person can’t be around Dan for long without hearing his voice – full of life and vigor that stems from being touched by God. I love being around people like Dan!
Recently, Dan took his heart to the Lord and was given back a song. In the struggle of being
among the scarred beauty of life on this planet, Dan declared to God that
he would not keep his lips silent. We have a choice as creatures of
this earth- whether to open our lips in praise or force them shut. I
suppose we can for a while open our lips in hate and lies… but only
for a while. Ultimately, we can’t help but to speak about God. The only other option is to enslave our lips. That
really is the choice:
