I found the article in the New York Times about the Walmart employee who was killed (I posted it on my profile). I had to read it to believe it. Its hard to imagine people being so carried away with consumerism that someone might actually get killed. This just does not make sense to me. And this whole thing is happening in our back yard too. 2 km away at market mall right now I can only begin to imagine the insanity that defines ‘christmas’ shopping. And for what? Who even remembers most of what they got last year? How do we break this cycle?
