I was encouraged tonight after meeting with an inspirational young adult who one of those getting baptized at Hub on Sunday night. As she shared about her experience this year I was reminded about how wonderful it is to be a part of a community that is following after Jesus together. What a privilege it is to be interconnected with people who are passionately living for something that is bigger than themselves… who are actively engaging the needs of others… who are creatively deepening relationship inside and outside the church… who are sensitively aware of the concerns of the world… and who are wholeheartedly committed to being shaped by God. One person's story has uplifted my own. You know, I am a better follower of Jesus tonight because of being networked with others who let God change them. Thanks Nicole for sharing your encouraging journey with me! Looking forward to your baptism this Sunday!
