spoof of contemporary church…

I first saw this on whyismarko… and couldn't help passing it on further.  Thanks to North Point Media for making fun of everything I do!  This is a little too accurate… and way too hilarious… and might just be a bit sad! Have our Sunday mornings become canned?  Are we stuck in a contemporary liturgy in a way that is similar to the high-church patterns of generations before us (a pattern that is hundreds of years old in some cases)?  I laugh at this video because it catches us in some of our liturgical tricks (such as using prayer as a segway)… but I also am intrigued at the ironic (and iconic) issues this video brings to light…
