In honor of all the graduates out there, I started exploring the minds of cutting edge cultural philosophers, looking for wisdom and advice to share with you on this momentous occassion. After some dramatic searching, however, I kept coming back to one particular current cultural icon, who has captured the voice of an emerging generation. And so I wondered, if she were given the opportunity to write a commencement speech for you today, what might Rebecca Black have to say? Well, maybe something like this – Please enjoy this cheesy tribute to all my favorite grads of 2011:
Its Grad Day, Grad Day / Gotta cross the stage on Grad Day / Everybody’s been lookin’ forward to this weekend, weekend / Grad Day, Grad Day / Getting a degree on Grad Day / For 4, 5 or 6 years we’ve been lookin’ forward to this weekend, weekend
