Prayer for Dr. Newton

Gary Newton

This morning Dr. Gary Newton receives a life-saving kidney from his son, Ben. Gary is my colleague at Crown College… He is also my former professor at Taylor University… He also has the coolest old car of anyone I know… and he also is one of the strongest men of character and faith that I've had the privilege to call a friend.

Would you pray today and this week for the surgeries (for Gary and Ben), for the acceptance of the kidney, for healthy recoveries (for Gary and Ben), and for blessed opportunities of ministry for both of them in the years ahead.

  1. UPDATE: Gary is doing great – His wife just called and everything is working just how the Dr’s hoped and we prayed it would! Ben, Gary’s son, is already up in his room resting/recovering. Thanks for praying!!!
