Give the Gift of NEXT

NEXTchristmasPromo
Sorry for the Christmas cheese. But I wanted to get your attention. There is a great opportunity happening at Crown College on Feb 9, 2013 for youth workers, youth volunteers, parents of teenagers, and keen high school student-leaders ("keen" means sharp and awesome in Canadian speak). NEXT is a one-day training event at a loooowwww price point (only $19) which focuses on the changing nature of youth ministry in North America and our responsibility to equip future generations in the practice of faith. We will be hosting several regional & nationally known voices and we will be providing solid time for networking/interaction/application. What better gift could you possibly give to your tireless youth volunteers?

Here's a quick rundown of speakers: Ginny Olson, Tiger McLuen, Edrin Williams, Eric Iverson, Jim Barringer, Bill Kuhn, Pang Rhodes, Cher Moua, Jason Barthelemy, Mark Warder, & my amazing wife- Kathy Castor. I might say a couple things too.

Here's a quick rundown of topics: Trends among millenials, sticky faith, adolescent girls, urban youth ministry, hmong youth ministry, partnering with other youth groups, working with special needs students, equipping students for ministry, intentional mentoring, etc.

We'll also have some tremendous sponsors on hand ready to serve you (Simply Youth Ministry, Youth Specialties, Launch Ministry, LIFE 2013, Youth Leadership, Big Sandy, JSAW, ForAfriend.com, Good Soil Media, and Square Media).

Check out our facebook page for more details. To register go to our website: And don't miss this: Register before Feb 1 and the cost is only $19 and includes lunch!
