Sundaes on a Sunday

We hosted our 2nd “Sundaes on a Sunday” yesterday. We have a great neighborhood, where people want to connect, socialize, and support one another. Last year, Kathy wanted to create another opportunity for our neighbors to get to know each other. Her brilliant mind came up with this summer get-together: Basically we buy 6 tubs of ice cream, a whole mess of toppings, set up some chairs and send out an evite to those in our neighborhood. Over two hours we had around 80 people stop by and linger in the sun & shade.

** In order to love your neighbor… you must be a neighbor.
