Endorsements for Make a Difference

Make a Difference bookI’m feeling quite thankful for some of the endorsements that Make a Difference has already received. This new devotional book releases on May 1. It is filled with 365 days of encouragement, Scripture, prayers, and difference-maker challenges to help us walk with Jesus and see the opportunities we have to bring his Good News to a world in desperate need.

Here are a few of the things that are being said about it by some people who are “everyday” world-changers themselves— (Please check out their work and organizations):

Endorsements and Organizations: The following endorsements come from people who are 1) “everyday” world-changers and 2) a part of organizations that help others make a difference in this world too. I hope you’ll check them out:

7Too often our lives become so cluttered with selfish pursuits that we miss the opportunities right in front of our eyes to help people and change the world around us. 11I’ve learned from twenty-five-plus years of caring for orphans, the most valuable investment we can make is to give God the freshest (and the best) part of our day. It is harder for the enemy to sabotage our mind with irrelevant thoughts when we are committed to doing what God wants us to do. Ken’s book is an extremely useful discipline in guiding us through a meaningful conversation with God, laying the foundation for a successful day. – Thea Jarvis, Founder and Director, The Love of Christ (TLC) Orphanage, South Africa, tlc.org.za

17With beautiful clarity Ken puts spiritual truths into bite-size pieces. Each day of this devotional has beautiful depth that draws the reader directly to Jesus. I couldn’t stop with just one day! The Difference Maker piece at the end of each day encourages the reader to take action. This is not just a read and receive devotional—it’s a read and do devotional. andban18Our world is starving for young men and women whose lives bear witness to the transforming power of Jesus Christ. In a word, the world needs difference makers! Part of living as a difference maker is internalizing the kind of difference the Gospel makes when it’s set loose in the lives of Christ-followers. This is why I love what Ken has done with this book. Not only does it do an excellent job of leading teenagers to know God and His Word, but it challenges them to actively apply what they’re learning. I set a high bar for the kinds of books I will put in front of young adults. I can’t recommend Make A Difference strongly enough. – Andy Blanks, Co-Founder, youthministry360, ym360.com
